This course is an introduction to the fiscal policies, procedures, and problems encountered in the administration of emergency service organizations — specifically governmental entities, non-profit, tax based and volunteer organizations.

The learning outcomes for the module are as follows:

  1. Theoretical overview of fiscal policies, procedures, and problems encountered in the administration of emergency service organizations.
  2. Understand finance and accounting in order to participate in planning, control, and decision-making.
