The Game Within the Game course was written with the purpose of helping athletes understand the greatest weapon they have and how to use it. That weapon, of course, is their own mind used effectively. Your mind will take you further places than your body can but, the mind cannot take you anywhere if you don’t know how to properly use it.
The problem The Game Within the Game aims to solve is to help student-athletes, or anyone for that matter, learn how to THINK to get the success THEY want in their own lives, THEMSELVES.
The Game Within the Game will take you on a journey within yourself to help bring awareness and acceptance to all aspects of yourself, the person underneath it all, your true motivations in your life, your actual strengths and limitations, your ACTUAL goal for yourself.
This course will tackle a variety of issues that student-athletes and students will face such as:
- Creating the mindset needed to achieve the success they want for themselves
- Effective problem solving
- Situational awareness
- Working with bosses, coaches, and other people
- Managing yourself mentally and emotionally
- Finding your TRUE identity
- Finding purpose outside of sports or “what you do”
- Planning and goal setting in your life
- Understanding and accepting your strengths and limitations. Then using that knowledge to get what you want in your own life.
- Guarding and building your reputation
- Leadership
- Unshakable Confidence
