Instructor for the course
Ludwig Diaz is a West Point graduate, Army veteran, and former international investment banker turned principal investor. He is the founder and Managing Principal of Starlifter Capital, a privately held investment company that has sponsored and arranged over $130 million of commercial real estate investments. Ludwig closed on over $30 billion of acquisitions, financings, and exits across nearly every property type during his time in real estate investment banking at Deutsche Bank and JLL.
Ludwig began his professional career as an Airborne Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army, where he served overseas in support of operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi
Freedom. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds an MS (Finance) degree from Georgetown University and a BS degree from the U.S. Military Academy.
