Description

Back to the Basics, is to instill confidence by laying a foundation one drill at a time. I accomplish this through football camps, Football Drill Manual Book Series, Film Evaluation, and created a Coaching Accreditation Course for Gridiron Australia. As an educator, I believe that we need to provide players with a consistent foundation to build on, but in order to accomplish this goal we need to provide coaches with the necessary knowledge, resources, and support that is also consistent.

Back to the Basics is the core of fundamental football development geared toward teaching proper skills and techniques, while developing and directing players toward their full potential. One way I do this is by teaching coaches how to challenge the players mentally and physically to work on specific areas while seeing the big picture and tying in athletic foundations of sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, discipline, determination, and perseverance.  Every aspect focuses on each player’s development and is consistent in challenging those players to push themselves as well as their teammates around them.

This Coaching Accreditation Course allows coaches to learn the material necessary for the level they coach at: Flag, TackleBarTM, & Tackle Football. As well as the role they coach: Assistant, Position, Coordinator, and Head Coach. The content within the course continuously builds on itself to provide consistent and effective coaching at every level. My goal is to continue to grow the game of football by laying a consistent foundation for coaches to build on.

Course Duration:

8-10 hours with the ability to start/stop/return at any time.
