Career management is the combination of structured planning and the active management choice of one’s own professional career.


Career management is the overall design or pattern of one’s career, shaped by goals and interests and identifiable by positions that embody those goals and interests. It is a sequential process that starts from an understanding of yourself and encompasses occupational awareness.

This course will develop your understanding, knowledge, actions, and skills to help you more effectively manage your career. You will learn how to set career goals, understand the steps to reach them, and create a more fulfilling life.

This course qualifies for 15 SHRM PDCs.
